Composite facings are often a great solution if they are skilfully placed and take into account the characteristics of the surrounding gums. In some cases, however, they can result in inflammation, discolouration around the edges and even cavities. This patient decided they wanted to replace their old veneers after previously trying to polish the composite ones that had been provided by another dentist.
